In light of the current Covid-19 situation, I have transitioned my doula work into a virtual format. I would love to support you during this time.

FULL VIRTUAL PACKAGE

:: Before Labor / Prenatal ::

 

We will schedule 3-4 prenatal meetings to take place over a virtual platform (FaceTime, Whatsapp, Zoom, etc.) where we will review your pregnancy thus far; discuss your priorities, hopes, and wishes; explore your options; go over any fears or concerns you may have; and work through other elements to prepare you for your birth. During these meetings I will also provide information to enable you to make informed decisions, assist in the creation of your birth plan/preferences, and explore your own best ways of coping with labor and birth. Throughout the rest of your pregnancy, we will remain in touch by phone, text, or email, to ensure you feel as prepared as possible. I’m here for you!

:: Labor and Birth ::

 

I will be on call for you 24 hours a day at the start of your 37th week, up until your labor begins. I prefer that you call me when you think you are in labor, so that we can assess your status and progress together. Throughout your labor, I will remain on call for you and be available for virtual support the entire time. I can provide reassurance and perspective to you and your partner and/or family members and make suggestions for labor progress, relaxation, positioning and other techniques along the way. I will be there to answer any questions over the phone or video - communicating with you as needed, or through your chosen birth partner.

:: After Birth ::

 

I will remain on call for you for one to two hours after your baby is born - until the placenta is delivered, and you are feeling comfortable and at ease with your new baby. I will check on you the day after the birth to see how you are doing and answer any questions you may have. In the days following, we can schedule our first virtual postpartum meeting, during which we can review the birth, go over care ideas for postpartum healing, provide referrals for other assistance if necessary, and admire your new beautiful baby! Later on, we can schedule an additional follow-up to help establish new postpartum rhythms, further process the birth, and address any other ways you can be best supported.
